Our daughter truly is a genius in the making. As you can see from the pictures below, she does many things already at 7 weeks old.

For example, she can sit in her swing and watch pretend birds and leaves move around the top of her head. Maybe a bird watcher in the making.

She can pose for the camera on cue. As you can see she worked very hard on this pose. It's called, "Hurry up, Mom. The birds might getaway soon."

But most importantly, Ellie is beginning to read. That's right, we have her on a "strict" schedule of reading before bedtime. She's already reading the classics, like "It's Pumpkin Time." As you can see, she's the one reading to Andy, not the other way around.

Here she's given Andy a chance to read, but you can tell that she's about ready to critique his interpretation of the mother's voice in the story.

She's so happy because Daddy understood the deeper symbolic meaning of the pumpkin. Whew, it took him long enough! Like I said...Genius!
