Thanksgiving time.

Emily: This Thanksgiving we had some guests from Chicago in town. John and Erin came to visit us and...

Emily: Good God, that's Andy's music!

Andy: [runs to the ring, sits down at computer desk in the ring, begins to type blog entry]

Hello friends. It's good to be back. I'm crawling out of my internship cave to poop out some words at you. Emily is past the point of being able to travel (and past the point of wanting the baby to stay inside her) so we were stuck in Cleveland for Thanksgiving. It had all the makings of a frightening and lonely holiday until John and Erin stepped in and decided to come pay us a visit. It was our longest visit from guests yet and we had a blast. All five of us pitched in and managed to put together a decent Thanksgiving dinner. Eleanor helped by pouring the cranberries into the pan to make cranberry sauce. She tried one, thinking it was a grape. I'm sure it was the worst grape ever.

We put together a surprisingly delicious meal.
The only thing missing was mom's secret ingredient: love.

Erin and John: saving us from loneliness on Thanksgiving.

Trying to work out a toot on John.

Thanksgiving time.

Eleanor: How were you sleeping on the night of the incident? Excuse me, incidents?
Wrigley: Well, I think that night I was sleeping way over on the edge of the bed.

Winnie: Come on, Wrigley. You know we sleep ass to ass.

Voreblog: A TURD MERGER!!!

Normally we take our guests to Lakewood Park for the traditional picture by the lake with downtown Cleveland in the background. This time we broke with tradition (a whole four months worth of tradition) and went to Rocky River Park. Although there isn't a view of the skyline, Rocky River Park is the enjoy. The day before Emily went into labor with Eleanor, we took Winnie down to Sawyer Point and took pictures by the river. We tried to recreate the family picture by the water experience to get baby #2 moving.

Baby, are you coming out yet?

This beach appears to be covered in sand.

The Bakers and Sweeneys. Sha-blam.

We didn't touch the pie, but the sign didn't say anything about running on the pier.

STRAIGHTNESS FAIL.

On a serious note, we have made a deal with Erin and John. We shared our finalists for boy and girl names with them. We told them that if they get engaged before the baby is born, they can pick the name from the finalists.

We are supremely confident that we will be naming our child ourselves.
