Adventures in Cleveland: Huntington Beach

So, today's sunny morning took the four of us (Winnie included) to an actual beach area of Lake Erie. All along Lakewood you can see where lake front homes have beautiful views of the lake, as well as one of the parks near us (Lakewood Park). But we had not found any actual access to the water as of yet; until our nice neighbors informed us of Huntington Beach in nearby Bay Village.

We took the scenic route...which was under construction, but luckily Magellan knew her way around. Once we got out we walked for a little while, searching for, yet again, an entrance to the beach. We found the stairs that would take us down to the sand and water, but rules that said "No dogs". Alas, Winnie had to return to the car.

We traveled down the stairs to see a couple, whom we would call optimists, laying on the beach in their swim trunks...and a bikini at 9:30 in the morning...on the beach by a Great Lake. If you've ever been swimming in any of the Great Lakes, you know what I mean.

Therefore, we went in the opposite direction of the optimists, as we didn't want to disturb their killer beach and sun time. We walked through the sand and looked at the waves, and then we had a quick surprise. Watch the pictures unfold to see what we mean.

Walking on the beach is fun. Maybe I should spin around.

Uh oh. Spinning was a bad choice.

Now my butt is wet.

Eleanor tried to dry her butt by jumping really high. It didn't work.

Beach time.

Tune in next time for more...ADVENTURES IN CLEVELAND!!!
