The most beautiful skyline in the world.The live action version of Masters of the Universe is an underrated late 80s classic. Featuring Ivan Drago as He-Man. Masters of the Universe follows our heroes to earth as the attempt to stop Skeletor's plot of blah blah blah. One thing I enjoyed is how the Masters of the Universe never said goodbye to one another. They always said good journey instead. Teela finally explains at the end of the movie Goodbye implies that you won't see the person you're speaking to again; good journey assumes you are going on separate journeys and will meet up again in the future.
Saying good journey to Cincinnati seems a little more appropriate than saying goodbye. We will be back to stay next August and in town plenty of other times between now and then. Although we are definitely saying goodbye to Maple Avenue; in hindsight we should have said good journey to the Evans-Reynolds family because we plan on seeing them again next year.
While we're excited about our journey here in Cleveland, it is sad for us that we won't get to see so many of our friends and family who have been a constant presence in our lives. We have been blessed to live so close to our parents and will miss seeing them frequently. We've also struggled with the fact that we will be away from so many of our close friends. One of the hardest things about moving is being away from bible studies, Friday morning breakfasts, play dates at the park, dinners at Terry's Turf Club, beer in Graeter's parking lot, and so many other things that have become regular parts of our lives (maybe not beer at Graeter's). We hope all of you plan on coming to visit in the next year to help us deal with their absence.
