Bringing everyone up to date

Don't call it a come back, we've been here for years. Maybe not years, but at least 20 months. We've been in hiding while we prepare for some upcoming events. Before we get to the pictures, a few announcements:

1. Congratulations to Miesenblog on the birth of young Charles, who arrived on May 29. We shamelessly copied the Miesen's baby gear and parenting books the first time around. We look forward to getting the dirt on having two kids from them as well.

2. We have finally found a house to rent in Lakewood, which is a suburb just west of downtown Cleveland. Emily and I have been up there twice and it appears to be the enjoy. Special thanks to Orrblog and Rob for their enthusiastic recommendation of Lakewood.

3. We are pleased to announce that our family will be slightly larger when we return from Cleveland. Emily is pregnant with baby #2. SHA-BLAM!!! We are really excited. Young Sweeney is due December 10. Emily is 13 weeks along and starting to feel better.

And now we return to young Eleanor, who is doing the most amazing things ever witnessed in the history of mankind. Here she is holding her sippy cup AND looking adorable at the same time. You try pulling that off.

Daddy does what I say.

As many of you know, we recently celebrated Memorial Day here in America. This celebration often includes parades. Here are some pictures from the Blue Ash parade.

Megan: Wait, slow down!
Eleanor: Ran track in college? My ass you did.

Practicing our twirling move for Aunt Megan's wedding.

Eleanor learned this from Sarah F'n Davis.

It's a good thing B is showing Eleanor where to look so we can see her face.

WTF?

And now we come to the highlight of our Memorial Day weekend. I'm sure many of you remember our critically acclaimed period where we turned bad. Our bad period culminated with a vicious light saber duel with the evil Sith Lord Jean Schmidt. Memorial Day turned into a reunion of the bad old days.

L to R: Andy, Eleanor, Jean Schmidt's twin sister

Apparently Jean Schmidt was busy, but her sister made it to the parade. I had this conversation with her.

Andy: Can we get our picture taken with you?
Jean Schmidt's twin sister: Oh, I'm not Jean. I'm her twin sister.
Andy: That's ok, nobody will know the difference.

Returning question of the day - Will baby #2 be a boy or girl?
