Eleanor is stylish; new addition to the family

Young Eleanor has been receiving a lot of complements on two particular articles of clothing. The first is her snow woman hat she received for her birthday from Aunt Peggy and Uncle Larry. Eleanor doesn't like to keep hats on, but this has a Velcro chin strap so she doesn't get much choice in the matter. The second article of clothing all the top designers are raving about this season is her pair of pink Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars. I bought these for her a few months ago and she is just now growing into them. As you can see from the pictures below, she is very de moda, which is similar to poco de gato.

In other news, we would like to welcome the newest member of our family. This past weekend we took Eleanor on her first trip to Build-A-Bear. She picked out and stuffed her new friend, Chevy. If she had picked out a girl stuffed animal, I'm sure she would have named it Astird.
