Not only did Maura get to celebrate on her actual birthday, but the next day was a rockin' party. Even with the 2-3 inches of snow on the ground, the crowds still came to help celebrate! Behold, Maura's festivities.
*Please note, I have posted twice in two days. So, if you are a long-time follower and think this is the only new post, go back one day!
The Dessert - courtesy of Costco (peppermint bark)
and Gail Cicak (the awesome, purple cupcakes)
We enlisted Eleanor to help blow out the candle...
and sprinkle the cupcake in spit.
Eleanor is just checking to make sure
Maura can handle all of that cupcake by herself.
Maura was very methodical in the dissection of her cupcake.
Taking her time to smack her lips throughout the process and decide if the icing was up to par, the face above is when she realizes this stuff is good, and everyone is paying attention to her.
So, what you're saying is I have something on my face?
Below: the cast.
Eleanor - the hostess with the most-ess
The feasting children.
Older and much, much wiser, Sophia Kloesz.
She's giving Andy dirty looks for his dumb jokes.
The stylish Reagan Cicak.
The charmer, Kyle Cicak.
The Original Gap Kid, Stylish Ava Andolina
The Italian Stallion, Jack Andolina
The Hippest Hunter (in his moose sweater and camo pants), Sam Vore
Maura's Namesake, Great Grandma Clark.
Maura's Best Bud, Papa Sweeney
One of our favorite toys of the evening was Great Grandma's walker - fun for all ages.
Eleanor is making sure Maura has fun on her new toy.
Can't you tell this is fun?
There, now let's try it Maura's way.
Good night, folks. It's been fun, but the party is over.
These penguins are off to bed.

Favorite photo is a tie: icing on Maura's face or the walker photo.
