Easter Week

After returning from Florida, the girls and I decided to stay in Cincinnati until Easter. While in Cincinnati, Maura took her first bites of cereal, many Easter Egg hunts took place, and we got to see lots of family, including Aunt Ania, who finally got to meet Maura for the first time

Somehow we got one good smile of her with cereal; this wasn't the normal response. She's getting better, though.

Hanging out on the bed together. Maura thinks Ellie is hysterical - thank goodness because she pretty much dominates the attention when she can. Maura will be Eleanor's side-kick, for sure.

My cousin and his wife brought their 10-week old short-haired German Pointer puppy to our Easter gathering. It was probably the cutest thing I've seen in awhile - Ellie and the puppy having a blast together. They both did a great job of tiring each other out.

Preparing for the Easter egg hunt at Mimi and Papa's house. If you know who Abby Cadabby is from Sesame Street, do you see a resemblance to Eleanor in pig tails? If not, look her up. My Aunt Julie pointed that out, and I believe she is right.

So proud of herself every time she finds an egg, she holds it up, waiting for people to cheer for her. Someone likes an audience.

Somehow, I don't have any pictures of the Sweeney gatherings, but Eleanor had 3 other egg hunts besides the one seen. Needless to say, she got pretty good at them. It was great to be with the family for an extended time, and it's getting us even more excited for our soon return - watch out Cincinnati.
