Hello family and friends,
For those of you who don't know, we are having a baby. Said baby can been seen in the picture above. We have decided to create a blog to tell everyone about how amazing our baby is. Apparently that is the thing to do these days. We are about one month away from the due date so we will be practicing until then. We will be putting forth a great effort to do the following things with this blog:
1. Let all of you know how the baby is doing.
2. Not look or sound like douchebags in the process.
These are lofty goals, but hopefully we can pull it off. We will try to update as often as possible so check back frequently. We probably won't format each posting in the form of a letter, but it seemed like a good idea for this one. We hope you enjoy our ramblings.

We are so excited to meet Lil' Sweeney! It's hard to believe that we are a week away... As much as it feels like it has been "too" long, I can't grasp how quickly it has gone by either. We send our blessings for a safe and healthy week ahead. (P.S. Uncle Nordstrom is anxious to show the baby his pockets, and Uncle George wants to share his sandals!)
